Xinyuan Li Graduate Student lxy95@terpmail.umd.edu I earned my B.S. degree in Geographical Information Sciences from China in 2017. Then I received my M.A. degree at Boston University majoring in Environmental Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems. During my graduate study, I helped quantify and analyze the forest disturbance in the Arctic boreal forest ecosystems through long-term satellite data, and I am also interested in studying the deforestation in Brazilian Amazon. Currently, my research focus is to characterize the forest & crop dynamics through various remote sensing datasets.
