Tropical savanna ecosystems are seeing rapid change due to human and climate pressures, but are particularly difficult to monitor using remotely sensed data. I am interested in integrating field-based vegetation inventory data with larger-scale Earth observation data to improve our understanding of various types of tropical savannas, and make better predictions for how they will change in the future.
