Zhen Liu

Graduate Student


Zhen Liu is interested in landcover mapping, accuracy assessment, deep learning, and machine learning. Zhen is qualified as a graduate in MSGIS from Clark University and an undergraduate in Geodesy and Geomatics from Wuhan University. After graduation, Zhen worked at Clark Labs for one year on the project Coastal Habitat Mapping: Mangrove and Pond Aquaculture Conversion. Zhen is the developer of the Total Operating Characteristic tool – TOC Curve Generator (https://lazygis.github.io/projects/TOCCurveGenerator). Currently, Zhen is working at the Global Land Analysis and Discovery (GLAD) laboratory in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland.
